Project Highlight

Access Engineering served as Coordinating Registered Professional for the development of Silver Manor, a four-storey, 30-unit seniors housing complex constructed for the Quesnel Lions Housing Society with support from BC Housing.

The building utilized a wood-frame superstructure supported on conventional concrete foundations, with shear walls providing lateral stability for the four-storey structure.

As Coordinating Registered Professional, our team was responsible for overseeing the coordination of the professional design team and ensuring the project aligned with applicable building codes, municipal requirements, and overall project objectives.

The completed development provides much-needed seniors housing within the Quesnel community. Designed with a focus on accessibility, functionality, and long-term performance, the building supports comfortable living while providing durable housing infrastructure for the community.
