Magnolia Gardens on the Park

Project Highlight

Magnolia Gardens is a multi-unit residential development in Prince George originally constructed in the late 1990s. Our team provided structural engineering services for Phase 2 of the project, which expanded the development with additional residential buildings while maintaining continuity with the original site design.

The scope included structural design of the new wood-frame residential buildings supported on concrete foundations, along with the design of a retaining wall required to address site grading conditions.

The structural system incorporated shear walls to provide lateral stability while maintaining compatibility with the construction approach used in the earlier phase of development. Careful coordination with the architectural design ensured the new buildings integrated seamlessly with the existing development.

The completed expansion added new residential units while preserving the overall character and functionality of the Magnolia Gardens community.
