Project Highlight

This project involved the adaptive reuse of an existing building in downtown Prince George to accommodate the Crossroads Brewing & Distillery facility, including brewery operations, a distillery, and a public restaurant space.

Our team completed a structural assessment of the existing building and developed structural modifications to support the new program requirements.

The renovation introduced specialized brewing and distilling equipment, new occupancy loads, and architectural changes that required careful evaluation of the existing masonry, wood, steel, and concrete structural systems. Structural upgrades were designed to support new equipment and revised building layouts while ensuring code compliance and maintaining constructability within the constraints of the existing structure.

The result is a revitalized building that supports a vibrant local business while maintaining the character of the original structure.
