Our advanced knowledge of steel structures was critical in designing this structure within a complex set of constraints at this specific mining process facility.

Project Highlight

This project required us to design the supporting structure and platforms to hold very large tanks – also called StackCells. This was the first time anywhere in the world that these specific tanks had been installed.

The structure needed to be designed around the existing mechanisms of the site, as well as the existing foundations, which required us to be creative with the size and thickness of the raft slab used.
