Mixed-use Commercial & Residential
Prince George, BC
- Commercial

Project Highlight
This project is near and dear to our hearts. We designed and served as Coordinating Registered Professional for the construction of our own office building in Prince George, developed as a mixed-use project combining commercial workspace with residential living.
The building includes approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of office space on the main floor and a 1,500 sq. ft. two-bedroom private residence on the second floor.
Constructed using a wood frame superstructure supported on a concrete foundation system with shear walls providing lateral stability, the design carefully balanced the structural and functional requirements of both commercial and residential occupancy within a compact urban footprint. Located on the edge of Prince George’s downtown core adjacent to the Crescent neighborhood, the project supported the City’s vision of encouraging mixed-use and downtown living.
The building achieved LEED certification, one of only two certified buildings in Prince George at the time, and received the 2019 Northern BC Housing Awards of Excellence for Best Innovative Construction, Architecture and Design.
